Custom Beautiful Bride Barbie Doll in Get Ups 'N Go Fashion

HAIR: I rerooted this doll using saran hair. Her hair has been set with product and a removable string tied about her hair and neck to keep it in place.

FACE: Originally a Deluxe Quick Curl Barbie, I have added rooted lashes to make her resemble the elusive Beautiful Bridge Barbie. I've also added some blushing. The rest of her face is all original. There are no earring holes and her vinyl color is nice and uniform with no signs of fading or discoloration.

BODY: She has been given a Superstar era body from a Marie Osmond doll that matches the fair skin of her face/head. The legs bend and hold poses nicely. Typical surface scuffs here and there from gentle play wear and age. No missing fingers or toes. Arm and leg joints are nice and snug and not swingy. A replacement rhinestone ring has been glued to her right hand. One of her legs is slightly lighter than the other (see last image).

OUTFIT: She's wearing the dress to a somewhat hard-to-find Get Ups 'N Go outfit from the late 1970s (Superstar era). It's in great shape with no staining or holes to note. Original snap closure is still intact. I made her gold sequin cap. A pair of matching yellow pilgrim shoes completes her look. Both shoes are TAIWAN on the bottoms. No cracks or splits in the shoes.

OTHER: The Tiny Ribbons Studio wrist tag is removable.
