Purple Passion Barbie Doll ~ Custom

HAIR: I've rerooted this doll using saran hair.  Her hair has been set with product to help it stay in place. 

FACE: Originally a vintage bubblecut Barbie doll, I have removed all of what was left of her factory paint and repainted her entire face from her eyebrows to her lips.  All paint has been sealed.  Only one earring hole at each ear lobe.  No neck splits, green ear, or signs of greening or greening treatment.  She wears a pair of metal golden hoops with plastic posts (they are safe to leave in her ears).

BODY: She has her original Barbie/Midge straight leg body that is in great shape!  No swingy limbs or bowed legs.  No bite or chew marks.  She has all of her fingers and toes. I painted her finger and toe nails. Typical light surface scuffs here and there from age.

OUTFIT:  She is wearing the dress to Golden Girl and a purple tulle wrap that I made for her.  It has a snap closure in the front that is decorated by a sequin and a trio of crystal beads.  I also made her little snake faux earl bracelet. I customized the pair of light brown reproduction Barbie mules with Swarovski crystals.
